I pretty much got what I expected out of a discount chain dress store...nothing about it was bad, but nothing was excellent either.

I was very pleased with the customer service at David's Bridal. I went to try on dresses 4 times is a period of 6 months and they were so incredibly patient until I found the dress I wanted. I worked with Michael and he was amazing, I would recommend asking for him when you book an appointment. I found a great dress at a great price and my bridesmaids from all over the country were easily able to stop in a try on and order their dresses.

They were willing to ship my dress to california for me. And, when I decided to change the color from ivory to white---they were willing to make all the necessary changes for me free of charge.

THey overbook appointments so I felt rushed. I had a wonderful sales associate and she saved the appointment from being a total disaster.

My experience with David's bridal was up and down. Obviously with them, you are getting what you pay for, and spending a lot on a dress was not a big priority for me. I wanted a simple and classically beautiful dress that would also be inexpensive. I also wanted to look at many, many bridesmaids dress, so in this regard, David's was the right match for me. Their sales people are hit or miss. A few were extremely helpful, and several others were unpleasant. The place is always busy, so expect to wait a while, even with an appointment. I had a few problems with the alterations, but after a strong conversation about my dissapointment with the alterations, they corrected things and gave me a small discount. Overall, I got my dream dress for $300, and bridesmaids for $100m each, so I can't complain too much. I was also able to find a ring pillow, garter, and clutch as well. It's very convenient for busy brides and/or brides on a budget.

David's Bridal is not a store I'd recommend. The dresses are poorly made and their quality is sub-par.The most glaring problem I have with David's Bridal is the damage that gets done to the dresses since they are literally purchased "off the rack" in some cases. It felt more like a costume shop than a bridal boutique. Zippers not working, bows not secure on fabric, the list goes on.I used David's Bridal only as a last resort. I needed bridesmaid dresses and since my bridesmaids were scattered across the country, David's Bridal was the most convenient. That being said, it would have been particularly helpful if you could purchase their entire collection -- at least of attendant ware -- on the internet. With the nature of it being an off-the-rack store, a significant online shopping collection would have been incredibly helpful.I am very, very grateful I did not get my wedding dress there.

The only thing I bought at David's Bridal was my hair pin. I think I may have gone there on one of the busiest days of the season, so it was hard to find someone to get the hair pin I wanted from the back. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but after searching for a few months for one I gave in and got the expensive one. Other than that, the salespeople (when I finally tracked one down) were very nice and helpful.

I went to davids 3 times - thinking I had the one I wanted from an online picture - The dress i bought i hadn't even seen before - go and try it on until it FEELS like the one - you just know it when you put the dress on!!!I bought my dress right there and 3 weeks before the wedding they steamed the dress and veil - it was wonderful! My bridesmaids all got their dresses on time and in great condition - Davids really works well with the bride...i could also take my puppy in with me - made it a really "family" experience! :-)

In the beginning, I really liked David's Bridal. I found a dress I loved, and it was reasonably priced. Two of my bridesmaids also had good experiences getting their dresses ordered. The third however, didn't. Her dress she ordered came in stained and then they couldn't get another dress in time for the wedding (she ordered it well in advance). She ordered a different dress that could only guarantee about a week before the wedding (and she had to fly here for the wedding). So just as a backup plan, she bought a second dress that she wasn't allowed to return, just to be safe. Then, since all my girls were coming from out of state, my stepmom suggested that they mail their dresses there and I have them steamed so they wouldn't have to carry their dressed on the plane. She called David's Bridal and they said that wouldn't be a problem. Three weeks before the wedding when I had everyone's dress they told me they had no availability to steam the dresses anytime before the wedding. How long does it actually take to steam a dress, really? So I called other bridal shops and got similar stories but I ended up finding Demetrios who was awesome and had all the dresses done for me at my convenience. You would think that the people we bought the dressed from would help us out though, right?

I knew that I wanted a simple sillouette. I also had a limited budget and didn't want to spend it all on a dress I would wear once, but still wanted a beautiful dress that made me feel beautiful. One downside, David's bridal requires appointments and it took forever to get in to get one. Also, if wedding dress and/or bridesmaid dresses took 6 weeks to get in. When I finally got in, I was able to try on over 20 dresses and the girls there were a lot of help. At first, they couldn't work with me to get my sisters in to try on dresses, but after I explained they were out of town and that they only the day, they were very helpful. I find the perfect dress for me there and the price was AWESOME. Plus the sale they have like every 3 months was really helpful to bring the price down from $550 to $250 plus accessories

David's Bridal constantly kept messing up the bridal party. They would leave names out and add incorrect names. I spend many hours on the phone with them trying to work it out and it just didn't seem very orgnaized. I had brides maids all of the country and actually getting their dresses ordered and at the right price was a big pain!! Then the dress I bought on sale suppostedly, but then by the time I made the alterations I should have probably spent a little more because the cost of the alterations was way more than I had planned!!! Then after I got the alterations done, I noticed that some beads were missing from the dress. All in all it was a BEAUTFUL Dress and it was worth it all, but there were a some stresses with it.

very good service, nice employees, the only thing is they should make sure the size of the gown are 100% right or if the bride wants something special in her dress.

I came to them with only $100 and a week before my wedding. As soon as I told them how soon my wedding was, they jumped up and started helping me, running around looking for exactly what I told them I was hoping for. They found me my dream wedding dress for $99!!!!! My dress was soooo beautiful, my husband was sooo happy. He has pictures of me from that day everywhere :) I would definately recommend David's Bridal, they're the best!

David's Bridal was really a great place for me to go. At the time, I was working for Tuxedo Junction, and knew EXACTLY what I had wanted for a dress and for tuxedos. I had bought another dress in Phoenix, Arizona; but had decided that it was too much for the wedding I was having, and decided to return it. They did so with no qualms whatsoever. I found the dress I wanted, and also got some favors for the wedding with the store credit I had. The ladies I worked with were so helpful in helping me find what I wanted. The price for everything was very reasonable, and even their alterations were a great price as well. I found the bridesmaids dressed I wanted, and every single one I wanted was in stock. I also used their preservation service and it came out beautifully!

Their communication was very poor with us. I had gone in for my "final" fitting, or so I thought, but it turns out that the lady did not know how to bustle the dress and so did not finish the dress! I only happened to be in town from 3 hours away where I live, and I went by since I was there anyways, just two weeks before the wedding, and it turns out that they had needed me to come in to do the real final fitting, but nobody told me!! A disaster was narrowly missed!

I spent several hours of just waiting around. Whether it was me just picking up my dress, and the associates continually answering the phone or helping other customers while I waited, or while I was trying on dresses. It appeared that the store was understaffed, but the staff they had wasn't necessarily great. There were several times they were just chatting with each other, and almost looked bothered when I asked for help.
