ABC Cake Shop provided a custom cake and delivered it to a remote location. They took the order over the phone and made a perfect cake for our wedding. Everything was perfect.

ABC was very flexible and worked with us to follow a cake design my mother had come up with, which was great. However when the cake arrived they had exchanged white cake with yellow cake, but they gave us a $25 credit. The cake was incredibly delicious and enjoyed by all. We also received a complimentary 1st anniversary cake that we got to pick up fresh before our anniversary (instead of freexing the top tier).

ABC Cake Shop's cakes were delicious! We ordered 125 mini-cakes and one large center cake (center cake fed 36, plus 125 mini-cakes) for our daughter's wedding (total cost of all cakes $900). They were almost too pretty to eat! They had us a little worried, however. The baker we spoke with was no longer there and the wedding coordinator we worked with was also no longer there. They also showed up only about thirty minutes before the wedding started. But, after all that, the value for the money was considerable. For 125 mini-cakes, which were large for "mini-cakes" (fit into the Go-Boxes, 7"x7"x7", large enough for a couple to share), they were absolutley a HIT at the Reception!

I loved my cake! My husband an I weren?t planning on having one originally, but I was asked to use a special cake cutter that was passed down in our family. ABC was great. I had a very particular idea in my head of what I wanted for a cake, and I was more concerned about the taste than I was the look. I explained what I wanted and when we went in for a group tasting, ABC Cake Shop had made one that was exactly my specifications. ABC was really good at working with our lack of a budget. We ended up getting a very simple 3 tiered cake with a bunch of different flavors? all of them were very tasty and it looked good too!

Had an awesome experience with ABC Cake Shop. Initially I stopped in to see the facility and get a feel for their designs and prices. I was very impressed when the owner was assisting customers, and was willing to sit down with me go over pricing, day of the event timeline and design options. I orderd both a grooms cake and a traditional cake. They did an awesome job on both and really went above and beyond to help me design a perfect grooms cake for my husband. (A drum set)

Our cake turned out nicely, not exactly how I pictured it. I had given them a picture of exactly what I wanted and it did not turn out exactly like the picture, so I was a little disappointed. For the grooms cake was asked for a cut of of a double T (since we both went to Texas Tech) and they did a fantastic job on that cake. My main issue with the cake shop is that we saved out top layer to eat when we got back from our honeymoon as we opened presents, a moment I had been anticipating. When we cut into it, we found that the cake was chocolate when we had ordered white. We looked back at the invoice and it said white cake, so someone made an oversight the day the cake was made. I don't like chocolate cake so I didn't even get a piece of my wedding cake :(

I went to several cake tastings and was always disappointed at how dry everyone's cakes were! ABC Cake Shop was on my list to try so finally it to ABC Cake Shop...we were so blown away at what we found! Wow!!! The cake are so moist and delicious! There where so helpful when it came to the design. I had already picked one out of a magazine but knew that it required fondant icing which I was scared of since everyone talks about how awful it is. On my third tasting, ABC let me try there Satin Ice fondant icing which was so much better than I expected. I was overjoyed that I could get the design that I wanted without sacrificing the taste! On the actual day the cake came out exactly how I wanted it and tasted so great! I cant wait to have them do our free anniversary cake!

Absolutely fabulous! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more professional and my cake was incredible! I went to a number of places before coming across ABC and none of them came close to the taste, appearance, or professionalism of ABC. I was able to choose different flavors of cake with different fillings at no extra charge and every layer was delicious! My wedding cake was delivered on time looking beautiful and exactly as I ordered. They're the only bakery I will go to. They're affordable and high class all the way. Perfect....A+++

I have loved ABC Cake Shop since I was a little girl and it was located across the street on the OTHER side of San Mateo. Their sugar cookies are one of my favorite things to eat, as is their German Chocolate Cake. I have never been disappointed in an ABC Cake. They are delicious. I loved my wedding cake; it came out exactly as I had wanted it. I found a picture of a cake I liked and they made the cake exactly. One downside: I had Victorian wedding charms that I gave the company to bake into the cake. The bridesmaids are supposed to each pull out a ribbon with a charm at the end of it, which is said to predict their future (one charm is a ring, one charm is a bottle, one charm is a 4-leaf clover, etc. etc.). The charms were left out, despite explicit instructions to include them. This was not because ABC was unable to do this, but because it was an oversight. I did not shop around for cakes -- I knew ABC was the vendor for me. That being said, they were quite pricey. I had no fondant and a simple design on a three-tiered white cake, yet it still cost over $500. This was not an intricate cake; it was meant to be elegant and simple. For the price you would have thought I had them hand paint our pictures all over the thing. Overall, I still like ABC. They are reliable, and that goes a long, long way.

Communication with ABC cakes was difficult, whether on the phone or in person. They did not respond to emails, and their website is useless. I did eventually get the cake I wanted, and it was bigger than expected, and quite tasty. They even included a nice keepsake knife and server, which I wasn't aware they did. However, they put the wrong filling in one of the tiers, and their "purple" frosting looked far more "blue" and did not match my decor the way I hoped. I would recommend seeking out a different cake vendor.

The Cake Tasted WONDERFUL!!! My husband and I went and picked out what we wanted with out any pressure - We drew up what we wanted and gave them all the accessories - the Cake was on time - and BEAUTIFUL! I was very happy... Don't let anyone throw your cake - a drunk groomsman threw the cake at our best man after everyone got a slice - we didn't get to keep any of it - and had a cleaning charge - it does happen - lol - good thing we had already left the party!!!

We got a lot of compliments on how good the cake was, which is great to hear. I thought ABC cakes had a good variety of flavors and it all worked out very nicely, however it was a bit pricy.

Beautiful wonderful cake. A little pricey but absolutly worth the money. The best tasting cake I have ever had!

The cake tasted amazing. They were very easy to work with. They only down fall was the cake we got had a topper and we didn't want a topper so we asked them to just put flowers and the flowers they put did not match the cake.

The cake tasted great, but the color should have been slightly off white and it ended up more like yellow.
